Weak ergodicity breaking in Josephson-junction arrays

We study the quantum dynamics of Josephson-junction arrays. find isolated groups low-entanglement eigenstates that persist even when Josephson interaction is strong enough to destroy overall organization spectrum in multiplets, and a perturbative description no longer possible. These lie inner part spectrum, far from spectral edge, provide weak ergodicity breaking, reminiscent scars. Due presence these eigenstates, initializing with charge-density-wave state, system does not thermalize order persists for long times. Considering global probes, we tends toward more increasing size: The parameter range where bulk look nonergodic shrinks size. two geometries, one-dimensional chain two-leg ladder. In latter case, adding magnetic flux makes ergodic.
